Day 3-  Life has been so busy lately that one day often feels like 3.  To reflect...  Today I went to the 6am yoga class at Moksha.  It was an intense flow class.  I took the advice of my practice guidelines in one of my books and used the Law of Least Effort today.  I took things slow when needed and tried to be true to myself and my practice with focus on the 2nd chakra. (Creativity).  Generally I like to follow the guidelines in Deepak Chopra's Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga.  It helps me focus not only in my practice but also during my day.  The day went fairly well for me.  starting with a practice gives me a gateway into a fairly balanced look upon my day.  Throughout the day there were a couple times when I spoke up for  belief and put input into decisions happening around me.

Day 1- Let the Games Begin

So here I am up for another challenge after a summer of good old fashioned fun and a fall of changes in my life.  Things have settled and I think it's time to return back to yoga and mindful practices.  Start reflecting and continuing to grow.  I started my 30 day practice with a friend's yoga class.  It was nice to step out of my usual practice spaces and go somewhere new.  After class we chatted a bit about her future and mine.  I am learning that I can be assertive in my own life and am looking forward to new opportunities.  I started a new job which has been much like hitting the refresh button in my life.  New faces, new responsibilities and a lot of learning can give anyone a new perspective.  I have started a yoga class for the participants at my work and this has triggered my own desire to continue learning and growing in my personal practice.    Thus, the beginning of a personal challenges ensues...
